It’s a continuing controversy - should you as a printer owner use OEM printer cartridges or compatible printer ink cartridges. The cartridges that usually come with and share the same brand as your printer. They are costly. What manufacturers say is essentially this - OEM cartridges bring you quality printing performance at no risk to your printer. On the other hand, compatible ink cartridges are either refilled cartridges of branded names, or are generic ones. They are cheaper. Which of these is better to use? Should you use OEM or compatible cartridges? A study shows that compatible printer ink cartridges churn out more pages and costs significantly less that original equipment manufacture ink cartridges.
